FLORIDA’S FINEST, the annual all-state juried exhibition held at Art Center Sarasota, will open September5 -October 4, 2019. This is an all media, all subjects exhibition and is the most important exhibition of the year. Juror: Christopher Jones, Curator of Photography and New Media at The Ringling.
Susan’s entry is a mixed media painting titled: PROTECT MOTHER EARTH. She used old fabric, gesso, clothing labels turned inside out, gauze, thread, tulle and cording to create a piece that concerns the fact that the earth is in a “climate crisis”.
