I lived in Caracas, Venezuela, for 3 years in the early 1970’s, however traveling the country with my husband during that time was not an option for me as we had a young family. I would guess that the Huapango was danced in small rural towns. I love listening to Gustavo Dudamel’s rendition of the song.
